I was introduced to this series by a friend, and by the time I was done reading was pleasantly surprised by it. In the land of the unicorns lore and legends are wonderfully crafted- as well as the rituals of the warriors of the vale. This is a well built world and any fantasy lover should pick up this book. The one thing

I would note is that the unicorns always seem to know what is going to happen, which is not something I enjoy in books. However this gets pulled off remarkably well and I was itching to gobble up the next part as pleasant surprises kept me involved with the tale.

Getting the version with all three books printed into one is a wonderful bonus! I encountered it at first at my local library and hunted down a copy for myself. I think its one of the best ways to enjoy this series.

If you are a fan of books with animals as the main characters, or are a big unicorn junkie- this needs to be in your collection!

Story kind of went by too quickly. Went from a "goofy kid" to a wise adult way too fast. Could have been longer, more detail and character development. Overall, a decent book for unicorn lovers.
If you love horses or unicorns, I suggest this book! Fun to read and very well written. Even fun for older readers!! I will visit this book again and again!
This is a favorite from when I was a kid and going to the library to read fantasy fiction on the weekends.
